The Crone: Naming and Reclaiming The Wise Woman
A JourneyCircles™ Program with Jan Blencowe
Saturday, October 10, 2020, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. $90 (includes lunch and materials)
Women are ready to tell a different story about themselves as they get older.
A movement has begun to help women remove the negative connotations of Crone and re-language how they view themselves as older women. Through a rich exploration of the Wise Woman Archetype, you will be invited to construct a new narrative around The Crone that supports your own vision of who you are becoming, where you want to go and what you want to do right now in your life – embracing whatever age and stage in which you find yourself.
Using the JourneyCircles™ Process, you will weave back into your understanding of The Crone powerful and positive images through easy cut-and-tear collage work. We will explore wisdom, intuitive knowing, leadership, legacy building and sovereignty, as part of the experience of Cronehood. The day will include guided meditation, drumming and/or rattling, sacred circle time for sharing and witnessing, creative time and more. Women of any age are welcome to join this powerful day. No prior art-making experience is necessary.
