A Weekend of Mindfulness: Living in Harmony with Ourselves, Others and the Earth
With Jerry Silbert, M.D. & Roberta Silbert
Join us for a weekend of mindfulness. As never before, our common destiny calls us to seek new ways of understanding, new ways of being with ourselves, with others, and with the earth. This is an opportunity to pause for mindfulness practice with a small group in a beautiful and peaceful setting on the Long Island Sound. A variety of mindfulness and meditation practices will be introduced in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. There will be poetry, reflections, mindful dialogue, guided kindness and compassion practices, substantial periods of silence, and listening deeply to the wisdom in the room. No experience is necessary. This retreat is open to anyone who would like to experience and practice mindfulness over a sustained period of time.
Friday, November 1, 6:30 p.m. - Sunday, November 3, 2019, 2:00 p.m.
