Comfort for the Grieving Heart at the Holidays
with Lisa Irish
Loss and the grief that follows are particularly difficult during the holiday season. We have mixed feelings due to our loved one’s absence, unmet expectations and traditions that need revision in order to reflect the new reality.
Come to the soothing spaces of Mercy by the Sea to receive comfort and support. Hear suggestions about how to include your loved one’s memory in holiday activities. Share in a time of remembering as your loved one’s name is spoken and his or her life is honored. This day of reflection will include prayer, ritual, quiet and the support of community — all valuable resources for healing a grieving heart.
The program will be held on Saturday, November 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The $65 fee includes both the program and lunch.
