Song and Silence: Canto Divina and Centering Prayer
A Contemplative Enrichment Day with Frank Pendola and Gunilla Norris
As in Lectio Divina and Visio Divina, where words and images bring us into silence and contemplation, so does the ancient practice of chant. We will gently sing ourselves into a gathered stillness and into God’s Presence and action in our lives. In a rhythm of chant, Centering Prayer sessions and walking meditations, we will spend a contemplative day by the sea. No special musical ability is needed, only an open and willing heart.
The program will be held on Saturday, October 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee of $65 covers both the program and lunch.
