Practices for Peace Within Ourselves and With Others
A Weekend of Mindfulness with Jerry Silbert and Roberta Silbert
Join us for a weekend of mindfulness. An opportunity to log onto your "inner net." This is an opportunity to pause for mindfulness practice with a small group in a beautiful and peaceful setting on the Long Island Sound.
A variety of mindfulness and meditation practices will be introduced in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. There will be poetry, reflections, mindful dialogue, guided kindness and compassion practices, substantial periods of silence, and listening deeply to the wisdom in the room. No experience necessary.
This retreat is open to anyone who would like to experience and practice mindfulness over a sustained period of time.
The retreat begins with check-in on Friday, September 14 at 4 p.m. and concludes on Sunday, September 16 at 2 p.m. The fee for the program and a single room is $350; for double occupancy, it is $320 per person.
Jerry Silbert is a physician who trained at the Harvard Mind Body Medical Institute, and with Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
