Enneagram: Nurturing Relationship to Oneself and Others

With Roberta Whitney, MA, CEP

Establishing and maintaining a caring, positive and strong relationship demands considerable time and energy, particularly with often-competing demands and stresses of active and fast-paced days.  Whether tending life with a spouse or loved ones, deepening friendships or seeking more positive work relationships, step away this spring weekend by yourself or as a couple and access the relational gifts of the Enneagram.  In doing so, we invite you to discover or hone your understanding of this ancient tool, making it a go-to resource to:

  • Enhance communication
  • Support mutual understanding,
  • Steer through challenges,
  • Empower personal growth
  • Inspire the quality of many interconnections — especially those that matter the most to you!

Emerging from ancient Sufi and Eastern traditions and refined through recent decades, the Enneagram describes nine different personality types and at least 67 interrelationships of significance within the structure.

This workshop is for everyone interested in nurturing a relationship with yourself,  as well as for those seeking to nurture a couple, family, friend or work partnership. We will explore, through reflective time, type panels and discussions, the dynamics of type that are active in any interaction we have with another. We will also look at how to bring out the best in ourselves and others through heightened skill working with the Enneagram in real-life situations.

The program begins on Friday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and concludes on Sunday, April 15 at noon. A fee of $375 includes a single occupancy room, the program and all meals.  The double occupancy rate is $300 per person and also includes the program and all meals. There is a commuter rate of $160 which covers the program fee, dinner on Friday and Saturday nights and lunch on Saturday.

Familiarity with the Enneagram and having some sense of one’s type will be valuable in this workshop, supporting meaningfulness to you and participation in the group.
