A Weekend Retreat with The Mary Paintings: Expressions of the Divine Feminine

with Catherine Steinberg

The Mary Paintings are aspects of the Divine Feminine that were conceived through dreams and shamanic journey work.  They were inspired by Mary Magdalene and Catherine’s work with women in psychotherapy and expressive arts.  In this retreat, participants will be invited to meditate and reflect on some of the images of "The Mary Painting" in order to connect with aspects of the Divine Feminine for ourselves, and, in turn, for our work in the world today.  Group time will include various meditative exercises, creative expression and conversation.  “I believe,” explains Catherine, “that the Divine Feminine is needed more than ever in our world today to support the evolution of consciousness and the aspiration for all beings to live in harmony, peace and love.”

Please bring a journal and expressive art materials that you enjoy using such as colored pencils, acrylic paint, paper and items for collage.  Also, bring a simple outfit that embodies your inner self and signifies an aspect of the Divine Feminine.  Mary Painting cards (created by Catherine to support private reflection with the exhibit images) will be available for purchase during the retreat in Mercy by the Sea’s bookstore.

The fee for the weekend, which includes the program, a single room with private bath and all meals from dinner on Friday evening to breakfast on Sunday is $365. The fee for double occupancy rooms is $305 /person, which also includes the program and accommodations with private bath and all meals from dinner Friday evening through breakfast on Sunday.

Commuter--$220 (includes program with dinner on Friday and Saturday, and lunch Saturday.)
